PLC Board
The PLC board oversees the growth, strategic development and governance of the Group. It is formed from representatives of the various stakeholders and brings together both investment and operational expertise.
John Richards

Chairman
John Richards joined the building materials industry after serving a graduate traineeship with the Delta Engineering Group. He served at Ibstock Brick for 31 years as Sales and Marketing Director, Director and General Manager and as Managing Director of several of the group’s subsidiaries.
He serves as Chairman of JR and M Investments, a supplier of finance to contractors and is a Director of Birmingham Moseley Rugby Club. From 2018 to 2025, John was Chairman of Facilities by ADF plc, a leading supplier of trailers and logistics to the TV and film industry, and led the company through its admission to trading on AIM in January 2022.
John joined the Board of Brickability in March 2018 as Chairman.

Frank took up his position as chief executive officer of BRCK Group Plc in April 2024. He has over 34 years of experience in the brick industry.
Frank previously spent over 14 years at Michelmersh Brick Holdings Plc, of which he served as joint chief executive for 8 years. As joint CEO he oversaw the significant growth of the business through a series of strategic acquisitions.
Frank joined Freshfield Lane Brickworks (FLB) in 1991 before it was acquired by Michelmersh in 2010. He was appointed to the board of FLB in 1996 as Sales & Technical Director before becoming a shareholder in 2000. Before that, Frank was at Lesser D&B and Hanson Brick Ltd.
He is highly regarded in the brick industry, having previously chaired both the Brick Federation and the Promotional Working Party within the Brick Development Association. He has also served as a main board member of the Brick Development Association.

Mike is a Chartered Management Accountant with an MBA from Nottingham Business School who joined the Board in 2021. Prior to joining, he served as Group CFO at Walker Greenbank PLC. Mike is a highly experienced CFO and brings a breadth of financial, strategic and M&A experience to the Group from his previous roles at Bass plc, Marstons plc, Geest plc, Constellation Brands Inc, Britvic plc and Walker Greenbank plc.

Susan McErlain has had an executive career spanning 35 years, advising listed companies and other organisations across many sectors, most notably in the industrial sector. She founded, grew and sold Square Mile Communications Limited, a successful communications and investor relations business. More recently, Susan acted as a Corporate Affairs Director for FTSE 250 company Ultra Electronics plc until 2019.
Susan has been a non-executive director since 2020. She joined the board of AIM listed company Dewhurst Group plc in 2021 and is currently a member of both its Audit and Remuneration Committees.
Susan joined the Board of Brickability in May 2022.

Sharon Daly (nee Collins) has more than 20 years’ experience predominantly in marketing, international sales and business development roles within the Healthcare sector.
Having previously worked for a leading dental manufacturer for seven years, Sharon also spent five years within the International Business Development field with Sinclair Pharmaceuticals. Sharon qualified from Lancaster University in 1996 with a degree in Marketing and gained her MBA (with Distinction) in 2005. In 2010, Sharon co-founded the Venture Life Group; in 2014, the company floated on AIM, part of the London Stock Exchange. Retiring from them in August 2023, she was the Chief Commercial Officer and a Board Director. With effect from 1 January 2024, Sharon was appointed as an independent non-executive director of Warpaint London plc, an AIM company which sells branded cosmetics.
Sharon joined the Board of Brickability in September 2022 and is also the Chair of the Remuneration Committee.
Kathleen (Katie) Long

Katie has over 15 years experience working within a UK listed company environment supporting organisations with the execution of their M&A growth strategies, as well as being an AIM-listed director and CFO with responsibility for financial reporting, risk management, and the design and implementation of corporate governance structures.
In 2012 Katie co-founded Tessera Investment Management, a strategic advisory firm where she remains a director, and prior to this, was an investment manager at Marwyn Capital between 2008 and 2012 where she led and managed a number of listed equity investments. Katie started her career at EY and qualified as a chartered accountant in 2002. She is a member of the Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand, and the ICAEW. Katie is also a Non-Executive Director of a VC-backed technology company and a member of its remuneration committee.
Katie joined the Board of Brickability in May 2025 and was appointed as a member of the Audit, Remuneration and Nomination Committees in July 2025.
Management Board
The Management Board is responsible for the day to day operations of the Group.
The members are drawn from key managers within individual Group businesses.

Frank took up his position as chief executive officer of BRCK Group Plc in April 2024. He has over 34 years of experience in the brick industry.

Aisling joined BRCK Group in March 2026 as Chief People Officer, bringing a track record of shaping leadership, culture, and organisational effectiveness to support strategic growth through her extensive experience in senior HR and leadership roles across growth and operationally complex businesses.
Prior to BRCK Group, Aisling was Group HR Director at Etag Fixings, where she served on the Board following the company’s private equity acquisition by Foresight Group, and HR Director at Buildbase, part of Grafton Group. She began her HR career with RS Components and Essentra.
At BRCK Group, Aisling leads the strategic development of people, culture, and organisational capability, strengthening leadership, driving performance, and supporting the long-term growth and success of the business.

Richard’s career in the construction industry began in 2006 working for a brick specialist Builders’ Merchant developing his skills and experience in both merchant and specification sales in brick, masonry products and cladding systems.
In 2016 Richard joined specialist brick importer The Bespoke Brick Company as Sales Director, then latterly became Commercial Director. Post acquisition of The Bespoke Brick Company, Richard was endorsed to become Group Sales Director for the Brick Division in 2022 before being promoted to Managing Director in 2024.

Shane has spent nearly four decades in the roofing industry, beginning his career at Cobsen-Davies in 1987 where he developed a strong foundation in estimating and contract management. In 1993, Shane was one of the founding directors of Beacon Roofing, a specialist supply and fix roofing contractor delivering high-quality roofing solutions throughout the Southeast. Shane became the sole owner of Beacon in 2011, and his continued focus on quality and growth saw the well-regarded business double in size over the following years, ultimately leading to Beacon Roofing being acquired by BRCK Group in 2022 and incorporated into its Contracting Division.
Shane continues to oversee the development of Beacon Roofing within the BRCK Group portfolio, leading the strategic direction, operational performance and long-term growth of the business as it enters its next phase of expansion.

Jonathan was appointed Managing Director of Taylor Maxwell in January 2026, having joined the business in 2014.
Over the past 12 years, Jonathan’s roles have included leading the Nottingham office, overseeing the Midlands and South West region as Regional Sales Director and, from 2022 until recently, as Taylor Maxwell Sales Director. Jonathan has more than 16 years’ experience in the building materials sector, having started his career at a roof tile specialist.

Dexter has spent more than a decade within the senior leadership team at TSL, including several years in his present role as Managing Director. His strategic leadership, driven by disciplined commercial management, technical excellence, and consistent project results in delivering significant revenue and profit growth, ultimately led to the acquisition of TSL by BRCK Group in 2024. Alongside this growth, he has established a strong culture through people development and leadership, and has built trusted long-term relationships with clients and partners to create a highly scalable business.
Dexter now directs the continued development of BRCK’s wider contracting platforms, leading the strategic direction, operational performance and long-term growth of the group’s specialist contracting businesses.
Calum Walsh

Calum began his career in the industry at the age of 22 with FSN Doors and Frazer Simpson, before joining Towelrads in 2013 as a Regional Sales Manager. Calum quickly progressed to National Sales Manager and was ultimately appointed Managing Director in 2021.
Calum's strategic vision was instrumental in launching the company’s Underfloor Heating division, which has since grown into a major revenue stream for the business. He has also led the development and delivery of Towelrads’ renewables package, including heat pump solutions, positioning the company at the forefront of sustainable heating. Through his visionary approach, Calum continues to drive significant growth and innovation across the organisation.
Calum joined the BRCK Group Senior Leadership Team in March 2026.
