The world is facing huge challenges. Climate change and the extinction crisis pose threats to our planet. The cost of living and energy crises are increasingly hard hitting and the world is still not yet recovered from the pandemic. From this year the UK Government has made it mandatory for PLCs to report their carbon emissions, show a transition plan and carry out climate related risk and opportunity assessments, part of Task Force on Climate-Related Financial Disclosures (TCFD). We know that being a more responsible business is the right thing to do and as a major supplier into the construction supply chain we aim to support our customers to design and build sustainable developments where people thrive. We have spent the last year months understanding our impact on the world, embedding processes, building a team and writing an ESG strategy to guide us to 2032.
